Box Office


3 Ways to Purchase Tickets:

1.  Online - visit our virtual Box Office and purchase tickets 24 hours a day!
2.  By Phone - call the UCPAC Box Office at 732- 499-8226
3.  In Person - visit the UCPAC Box Office located at 1591 Irving Street, Rahway


Box Office Hours
Tuesday thru Friday - 11am until 5pm

Or, by request.  You may contact the UCPAC Box Office and make an appointment that is convenient for you to purchase tickets.

The Box Office is open 2 hours prior to every performance.  If you are purchasing tickets on the day of an event, please note that online sales end two hours prior to the performance.  All purchases must be processed through the UCPAC Box Office either over the phone or in person after that time.

* The UCPAC Box Office will remain open until 9pm on evenings of 1st Thursday events.


Ticket Surcharge
In the cost of each ticket purchased there is a $2.00 surcharge.  This surcharge is used as follows: $1.00 covers the cost of printing the ticket and $1.00 is designated as a Theatre Maintenance Fee, used to support the maintenance and facility needs of our beautiful and historic theatre.


No Refunds
Please check your order carefully before finalizing your purchase, as there are no refunds.  Seats cannot be reserved without payment.


24-Hour Ticket Exchange Policy
No refunds. Ticket buyers may exchange tickets for a flat $8 fee. Exchanges must take place no later than 24 hours prior to the performance. Should the replacement tickets be for a lesser ticket price, the difference will not be refunded and the $8 fee will apply. Exchanges are only valid for UCPAC presented events. After a performance has passed, the tickets no longer have value and therefore cannot be exchanged. 


Ticket Holders
ALL PATRONS MUST HAVE A TICKET, REGARDLESS OF AGE, TO ENTER THE THEATRE.  Please be aware that not all events are suitable for children.  Any patron creating a disturbance, including children, will be asked to leave the seating area.  Discount tickets for toddlers (2 years and younger) may be available for select performances.  Please contact the Box Office for more information.


Discounts
The Union County Performing Arts Center offers a variety of discounts on select events. Discounts include Student and Senior rates, a UCPAC Sampler Subscription, a Children's Series and a Discover Jersey Arts member discount. Discounts are not retroactive and cannot be combined. There is limited seating availability for select discounts.  Contact the Box Office for further details.


Group Rates
Groups of 10 or more may be entitled to a discount per ticket price. Contact the Box Office for further details.


Seating Chart
The seating layout of the theatre is similar to that of "stadium seating" in that there is no balcony.  There are three seating sections in the theatre; the "Orchestra", the "Loge" and the "Mezzanine".  The three seating sections are located one behind the other and the rows (starting in the Loge through the Mezzanine) are elevated.

Accessibility

For those patrons using wheelchairs or needing assistance, the theatre has barrier-free access to the orchestra seating area. Please inform the Box Office when purchasing tickets that you would like to reserve a space with accessible seating. 


Assistive Listening System (ALS) 
ALS devices are available upon request.  For those patrons wishing to use an ALS device, please inform the Box Office when purchasing tickets.  Please note that, though the devices are available, a two to three week advance notice is necessary in order to have the devices available at the performance for which you have purchased tickets.

Large Print programs are available upon request.  For those patrons wishing to receive a program in the Large Print format please inform the Box Office when purchasing tickets.  You may pick up your Large Print program from a theatre volunteer the night of the performance for which you have purchased tickets.  


Latecomer Seating Policy
We strive to begin our performances on time.  To avoid disturbing both the performance and other theatre patrons, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of theatre management.  We encourage all patrons to arrive at the theatre early for a performance.


Storm Policy for the UCPAC 
The UCPAC does not close for inclement weather, and does not give refunds or exchanges to those unable to attend an event because of weather.  The UCPAC does everything in its power to remain open for all performances.

When the performance occurs the "No Refunds or Exchanges" policy stated at the time of sale, printed on the ticket, and printed throughout this website remains in full effect. 
Please plan to leave home early and travel carefully.

Parking 
Multiple municipal lots and on-street parking are available to our patrons as well as Rahway's multi-level parking deck, located on the corner of Main Street and Lewis Street (across from the Rahway Train Station behind Skyview at Carriage City Plaza). Please note that tickets are issued for parking violations throughout the city of Rahway.

Patron Information
Please note that all bags and packages brought into the venue are subject to search.
The use of Cameras, Camera Phones or Recording Devices is strictly prohibited in the theatre.
Food and Beverages purchased outside of the venue are not permitted in the theatre.
Food and Beverages are available for purchase at UCPAC Concessions.  However, please note that food and beverages are not permitted in the auditorium.
