“This has been the best program I have ever been in. I love the people there, the conductor, everyone! The repertoire is excellent!” —Rashad, Greater Newark Youth Orchestra cellist
“[My daughter] definitely practices a lot more and a lot better. I can hear how much she’s grown musically as a result. She’s also developing stronger ensemble skills. She feels a real responsibility to the group to do her best.”
—Marlene, Greater Newark Violin Ensemble parent
"Being in this program helps young kids do things that they didn’t know they could do. The best is that it’s helped build my confidence. I learn a lot, but I have a lot of fun at the same time.”
—Antonio, Greater Newark Chamber Orchestra bassist
