What better way to celebrate Hamilton Stage’s 1st Anniversary Weekend
than enjoying a full afternoon of Latin Dance and Music?

At 3:00 p.m. award-winning Latin dancer Amy Garcia Phillips of Contento
Dance will give lessons and demonstrations in salsa and merengue. Grab
a partner or step onto the floor yourself, Amy will have you swinging!

At 4:00 p.m. keyboard master Dave Braham leads a sizzling quintet
playing hot Latin Jazz. 
Amy Garcia Phillips has appeared on Late Night with David Letterman,
Good Morning America, Lincoln Center’s Mid Summers Night Swing and
has danced and trained with Latin dance legends such as Cuban Pete
and Barbara Craddock, Billy Fajardo, Paul Pellicoro, Eleny Fotinos, Frank
Hatchett, Mariana and Taliat Tarsinov, Kelvin Roche and Lori Ann
Greenhouse, Tatiana Keegan, the late Artie Phillips, and many more.

Originally from Pittsburgh, piano and organ wizard Dave Braham has
played as a featured sideman with jazz greats Houston Person, Etta
Jones, Willis Gatortail Jackson, Ernestine Anderson, David Fathead
Newman and more. He has recorded CDs with Houston Person and
Etta Jones and also with Mark Murphy, Johnny Lytle, Lou Donaldson,
Al Grey and more recently appears on saxophonist Nat Simpkins
"Spare Ribs" and guitarist Eric Johnson's "Makin Whoopie" both on
Bluejay Records.
