Begin your journey through history at the Union County Performing Arts Center.
Stop by to hear the history of the theatre and learn more about its future as the
cornerstone of the Rahway Arts District, making Rahway your destination for Arts
and Culture.

This classic vaudeville house opened as the Rahway Theatre on October 16, 1928
and featured a magnificent Wurlitzer pipe organ, the catalyst for the preservation
effort from which the 1,300+ seat performing arts center emerged. Carefully restored
to its golden age grandeur, the arts center is a monument to an age gone by.
