On a bitterly cold Christmas Eve\, a poor woodcutter and his two children have no gifts\, barely enough to eat\, and are in danger of losing their home to an impatient landlady. The surprise discovery of a large\, but gentle arachnid leads to a seemingly miraculous turn of good fortune for the family. Inspired by a Ukrainian legend\, “The Christmas Spider” is a new addition to the holiday canon\, telling a tale for all ages. \nAbout New Jersey Opera Theater\nLed by Rahway resident Joseph Mayon\, Founder & Artistic Director\, New Jersey Opera Theater works in partnership with UCPAC to provide the community with state-of-the-art shows and world class performances that truly make an impact.
