The Union County Performing Arts Center has always prided itself on our ability to offer incredible experiences at reasonable prices as well as our ability to continually grow and transform for the better. This year has been a time of great change for everyone, and the UCPAC is no exception. We’ve decided to remodel our youth programming, and we couldn’t be more proud of the opportunities we will be bringing you or the people and organizations we have chosen to partner with.
We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the Academy for Performing Arts of the Union County Vocational-Technical Schools, NJ Musical Director: Khy Garner, Owner of Theatrical Artist’s Prep: Samantha Simpson, and even Broadway superstars Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer!
Our partnership with APA will include a myriad of youth programming initiatives including musical theater Summer camps, collaborative classes and workshops, internship opportunities, and more.
“I am very pleased that the synergy between The UCPAC and APA has continued and taken yet another step forward. I believe that both of these fine organizations will benefit greatly from each other as will the arts community. Providing learning opportunities for the students and young artists while creating quality entertainment is a win-win.”Alexander Mirabella, Chairman, Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders
‘The Academy for Performing Arts is thrilled to partner with the Union County Performing Arts Center to create more opportunities for young people to experience the arts in Union County.”Kelly Douglas-Jackson, Principal of the Academy for Performing Arts
Our partnership with Khy Garner and Samantha Simpson will involve a master class series on topics such as auditioning, song interpretation, acting, and more; along with one-on-one vocal coaching sessions.
Our partnership with Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer will include a series of online workshops focused on turning your passions into your career.
