RED HOT CHILLI PIPERS BLAZE BACK TO UNION COUNTY ON EVE OF ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Bagpipes, kilts, and kinetic energy will heat up UCPAC’s Main Stage in Rahway

RAHWAY, NJ –Revelers who want to kick off their St. Patrick’s Day celebration early are in luck this year. Union County Performing Arts Center (UCPAC) is hosting the ultimate St. Patrick’s pregame party – a performance by the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on Friday, March 14, at 8 PM, the night before the much anticipated 28th Annual Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers (not to be confused with the Red Hot Chili Peppers), a nine-piece ensemble of pipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers, entertain and enthrall audiences with their signature ‘Bagrock’ sound. They perform traditional pipe tunes along with rock n’ roll anthems like AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck”, Queen’s “We Will Rock You”, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” and more.
The band’s unique show brought down the house when they played UCPAC’s Main Stage last March, so they were invited back by popular demand. And for those wondering, yes, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers are indeed Scottish, but everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day weekend!
“What a great way to start off the parade weekend with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on Friday to kick it off! Then Saturday at 1 PM sharp, the 28th Annual Union County St. Patrick’s Day Parade down Morris Avenue! See everyone there for a wild fun weekend!”
Parade grand marshal Marc Dowling, owner of Dowling’s Irish Pub and Restaurant in Roselle Park, and vice president of the Joseph Nugent Sr. Association.
