Concerts, comedy, movies & more!
Events at UCPAC
UCPAC offers an entertaining and diverse program of performing arts events each season. Our beautiful historic Main Stage theatre is the perfect setting for concerts, comedy shows, dance performances, plays, musicals, films, family-friendly children’s shows, and more. We also host more intimate events at our newly renovated 199-seat Hamilton Stage for the Performing Arts. Purchase tickets online or by calling our Box Office at 732-499-8226.
Coming to one of our events? Make a night of it!
Come early for dinner and drinks at one of the many restaurants and bars within walking distance to the theatre! Just as we have many different types of shows at each of our venues, the City of Rahway has food and drink offerings that appeal to everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for an upscale Italian restaurant, a craft brewery, unique Peruvian cuisine, pizza rated an impressive 8.8 by Dave Portnoy’s Barstool Pizza Review, or “world famous” American fare, the perfect place (and plate) awaits!
If you’re in the mood for a drink or snack during the show, our Café Bar is stocked with water, soda, cocktails, beer, wine, candy, chips, and more.
We can’t wait to welcome you back to the ‘PAC or for you to join us for the very first time!
New Jersey Opera at UCPAC’s inaugural performance will be a tour of Wagner’s operas including arias from Die Walküre, Das Rheingold, Götterdämmerung, Tannhäuser, Parsifal, Die Meistersinger, Lohengrin, and Seigfried. This performance by New Jersey Opera will feature artists from New York Dramatic Voices.
Anthony Rodia has over 900,000 social media followers and over 22 million views on YouTube. Rodia’s comedy pulls from his real life and razor-sharp observations on marriage, parenthood, road rage, and everything else worthy of a social media rant. With the onset of quarantine, Anthony made the most of a captive audience, delivering a staggering 86 weekly videos. “ROAD RAGE WEDNESDAY” became a fan favorite, but his Uncle Vinny and Zia Lucia characters transformed into a phenomenon. They are the crazy uncle and aunt you love but can’t be out in public with, who speak their minds (whether you asked for it or not).
Join us for a special night of music and stories at The Loft as we welcome back singer Danny Creed! Get ready to be swept away as he takes the stage in his new show Danny Creed “Home Again” with his Musical Director Tracy Stark. Danny will be performing a selection of his favorite songs from the 60s along with timeless classics.
One of the most engaging and successful ensembles in the history of Celtic music, Cherish The Ladies have shared timeless Irish traditions with audiences worldwide for over thirty years. In Cherish The Ladies Celtic Christmas, the Ladies put their signature mark on classic carols such as “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “Silent Night,” in arrangements that highlight the group’s unique Celtic instrumentation, beautiful harmonies, and spectacular step dancing.
New Jersey Ballet: The Nutcracker, a beloved annual tradition, enchants youngsters and grown-ups alike with splendid dancers and a touch of holiday magic, set to Tchaikovsky’s iconic score. This performance is brought to you by the Union County Board of County Commissioners. Sensory Friendly Theatre (SFT) is a series of live performances specially designed and adapted for children with autism and similar sensory sensitivity.
Join us for UCPAC’s annual holiday tradition – The Muppet Christmas Carol on our big screen! The movie will be preceded by an organ concert of holiday favorites played on our “Biggest Little Wurlitzer” one half hour before the movie begins, and the classic Max Fleischer cartoon short Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer will be shown before the film. Join us for free popcorn, a visit from Santa, and other seasonal surprises! Don’t be a Scrooge – come get in the holiday spirit with Kermit and friends!
