This Juneteenth, join us for Dreamgirls in 35mm (rated PG-13). Enjoy themed drinks, photo ops, and more surprises all evening. When the movie is over, we’re telling you, we’re not going – and neither are you! Immediately after the film, come up on stage and dance to your favorite Motown and R&B tunes!

Adapted from the 1981 Broadway musical of the same name, Dreamgirls is a film à clef, a work of fiction taking strong inspiration from the history of the Motown record label and its superstar act the Supremes. The story follows the history and evolution of American R&B music during the 1960s and 1970s through the eyes of a Detroit girl group known as “The Dreams” and their manipulative record executive…starring Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé Knowles, Eddie Murphy, Jennifer Hudson (who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance), Danny Glover, Anika Noni Rose, and Keith Robinson…Dreamgirls won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy in 2006.
