The Jazz Ambassadors of the US Army Field Band is the official touring big band of the United States Army. The band’s diverse repertoire includes big band swing, bebop, Latin, contemporary jazz, standards, popular tunes, Dixieland, vocals, and patriotic selections. The band has been featured in joint concerts with Marvin Hamlisch and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony Pops, the Colorado Pops Orchestra, and the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall. In January 1942, MGM “fixers” Eddie Mannix and Howard Strickling converge at the El Rancho Hotel in Las Vegas with the studio’s top star, Clark Gable, after a plane carrying his wife, actress Carole Lombard, goes missing in the nearby mountains. Charged with managing the crisis and getting Gable back to work, the two fixers clash over motives, methods, and morals—while all three fight to survive, reflecting the struggles of Hollywood and the nation amid war and rising fascism.

Noche Flamenca is an award-winning company of dancers, singers, and musicians whose mastery of flamenco stretches the boundaries of the art form. Conceived and directed by artistic director Martín Santangelo, who choreographed the show with Bessie Award-winning principal dancer Soledad Barrio, “Searching for Goya” brings to life the extraordinary art of Francisco de Goya through the language of flamenco.
