UCPAC and Rahway Dance Theatre (RDT) proudly present the 2025 Summer Dance Intensive for students ages 9 to 18.

This immersive program features a diverse curriculum including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, West African Dance, World Styles, and Theater Dance—culminating in a celebratory Family Performance at Hamilton Stage.

Rooted in New Jersey’s STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education model, the Dance Intensive integrates the arts into STEM learning to foster creativity, critical thinking, and innovation. Beyond technique, the program offers a healthy outlet for social connection and self-expression, empowering students to create art that is culturally relevant and impactful. By expanding access to high-quality dance education, the Intensive supports real-world representation—allowing aspiring dancers to see themselves reflected in the art form.

Two Age Groups:

• Ages 9 – 11
• Ages 12 -18 (going into 12th Grade)

Schedule:

• Week 1: August 11-15
• Week 2: August 18-22

Time:

• 9:30AM – 3:30PM

• UCPAC’s Hamilton Stage, 360 Hamilton Street, Rahway, NJ 07065

Daily Schedule:

• Dance Class #1: 9:30AM – 10:30AM
• Dance Class #2: 10:30AM – 11:30AM
• Morning Activity: 11:30AM – 12:30PM
• Lunch: 12:30PM – 1:30PM
• Afternoon Activity: 1:30PM – 2:00PM
• Dance Class #3: 2:00PM – 3:30PM

Cost: $350 Per Week

• Option 1: Weeks 1 & 2 (includes performance participation on 8/22) = $700
• Option 2: Week 1 (no performance participation) = $350
