Stage Tech Crew Supervisor

  • Follow and implement production plans as communicated by the Production Director.
  • Supervise and direct lighting, audio, and stage crews to ensure timely and effective event setup and operation.
  • Oversee scenery, furniture, prop placement, and material handling as required for events.
  • Make production decisions in the absence of the Production Director, ensuring continuity and quality of event execution.
  • Maintain familiarity with venue technical equipment and systems; report malfunctions or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct basic visual inspections of rigging systems, including fly rail operations, counterweight arbors, and rope integrity.
  • Ensure proper setup and full restoration of venue systems after each event.
  • Support accurate upkeep of venue technical documentation and inventory needs (perishables, hardware, tools).
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized backstage areas, including the loading dock and crew workspaces.
  • Promote and enforce venue safety and security protocols; report any violations or hazards immediately.
  • Use discretion and professionalism when handling venue alarm codes, keys, and secure access areas.
  • Complete post-event production reports using templates provided by the Production Director.
  • Serve as the on-site representative of UCPAC with artists, promoters, and clients.
  • Communicate any technical, personnel, or scheduling issues to the Production Director in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in theatrical or live event production with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of stagecraft, lighting, sound, and rigging systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical problems calmly and efficiently during live events.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event needs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standard theatrical safety procedures preferred.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and move around backstage areas.
  • Regularly required to lift, push, pull, or carry equipment and materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work at heights using lifts or catwalks, and in dimly lit or loud environments.
  • Must be able to work long shifts, including late nights, with periods of high physical activity.

Box Office Associate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience with a ticketing point of sale preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Friendly and calm customer service demeanor, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Responsible and ethical money handling.
  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure during stressful situations.
  • The ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Must have the availability to work weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Theatre Technicians (Freelance/Overhire)

Audio Engineers:

  • The ability to participate in load ins and load outs. 
  • Set up & strike of decking/stages, walls/flats, curtains, pipes, drapes etc. 
  • Experience operating a theatrical fly rail system in safe and professional manner. 
  • Basic backline knowledge a plus.
